My name is Wayne and I am a multidisciplinary photographer, writer, gear reviewer, and product ambassador based in North Vancouver, British Columbia.
As a freelance photographer, I specialize in sports, portraits, weddings, landscapes, wildlife, architecture, and journalism. I pride myself on adapting to any situation quickly and efficiently. Along with a formal education from Capilano College's Media Resources Program, I have the know-how and experience to provide you with lasting memories and visual assets for your organization.
As I grow and evolve in my career, I'm developing a passion for capturing people's lives. I find myself shooting more proposals, elopements, and weddings. My latest offering is heli-elopements and proposals through Glacier Helicopters out of Whistler. Contact me for special rates and to book for 2025.
My pricing depends on many factors, mainly due to time and the required work. My baseline rate is $120 per hour. Weddings start at $1500 for a smaller event but climb to about $5000 based on the complexity, time, and number of deliverables (photos). These larger weddings tend to involve helicopters and/or remote access. Generally, a typical wedding would be in the $2000-$3000 range. Depending on the number of people and time, I offer outdoor family or couple portrait sessions for between $300 and $500. My travel expenses include $0.55 per kilometre plus applicable ferries or tolls.
In addition to shooting photos, I write for various media outlets, blogs, and businesses. I enjoy documenting my own adventures, but I'm also active in travel blogging, performing gear reviews, and highlighting products. Check out my blog or my published work listed below for examples.
