Welcome!

My name is Wayne and I'm a multi-disciplinary and award-winning photographer and writer based in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Multi-disciplinary means that I shoot just about everything. This includes sports, product, portraits, weddings, landscapes, wildlife, architecture, events, photo-journalism and more. If I were to pinpoint a favourite subject matter, it would most likely be action sports. You'll find me photographing cycling events and bike-related subjects most often. 

However, I pride myself on adapting to any situation quickly and efficiently. That's why I'm regularly called on to cover newsworthy events for various media outlets and agencies. I was hired recently to capture the CMHC Copperplate Ceremony and Audi Canada's Sustainability Event in Vancouver. On a completely different side, I'm also an accomplished architectural photographer. I've worked with many real estate agents and hoteliers in British Columbia, Newfoundland, Japan, and Scotland.

In addition to shooting photos, I often write for various media outlets, blogs, and businesses. As a self-proclaimed adventure seeker, many of my articles are designed to promote tourism. I've had opportunities to work with Newfoundland Labrador Tourism, Tourism Kamloops, British Columbia Magazine, Downhome Life Magazine, Explore Washington State, in addition to writing blogs for local retail stores. 

I studied media and documentary production at Capilano College (University) in North Vancouver. I learned the technical side of my craft while immersed into this intensive two-year study. Since then, I've honed my skills and developed a style all my own... although I'm always learning something new!
